Stop Black AIDS

This summer, The Loop21.com is teaming up with the Magic Johnson Foundation for an online awareness campaign call Stop Black AIDS. This is the first national online discussion addressing AIDS in the Black community that will be held during June 21-27. To learn more about Stop Black AIDS, please visit www.theloop21.com.

Education is essential in combating HIV/AIDS within our community. Not talking about HIV/AIDS will not make this epidemic go away. Sometimes I wonder if HIV/AIDS
was disproportionately affecting women who were NOT women of color, would the mainstream media do more to bring attention to this crisis?

I first saw this video over at What About Our Daughters, a blog site I often visit. Please check it out and think about it. The AIDS epidemic is real!
