Change is the essence of life...

“Change is the essence of life, you can not experience life without change.” When I read those words written years ago by Susan L. Taylor, I thought to myself “how profound and how true those words are.” In our journey in life, change is inevitable. Nothing stays the same. Yet, we know this, but often, we find ourselves not wanting to embracing certain changes that come along. That’s the position I found myself in about three months ago, when the love of my life (shown in the photo with my little one) left home to train at Fort Riley, Kansas. I was not too acceptable to the changes that was going to transpire in our lives. My husband is in the army and after three months of training at Fort Riley, he left for a year deployment to Iraq today. So you see, there’s going to be some changes for our family over the next year, but you know, we are okay about them. Our family has truly realized that “change is the essence of life, you can not experience life without change.”

You can follow me on TWITTER where I will keep you updated about my husband’s journey in Iraq.
