Self-Esteem

Building up the self-esteem of our women and especially our little girls is on the top of the list for 2009. Too often, we view ourselves in a negative light because we are constantly bombarded by society’s standard of beauty. The negative way we feel about ourselves keeps us from reaching our full potential. Not loving ourselves often leads us down the path to many social ills plaguing our communities. So in 2009, I challenge you to accept and to love yourself for who you are and to teach your daughters or any young lady in your life to do the same.
