A Word For My Sistas

For some of us, we pledged that 2009 was going to be our year. We were going to put ourselves first for a change and focus on living our best life; but in the second month of this “New Year,” some of us have already broken our pledge and has sent ourselves to the back of the bus. Managing the “hustle and bustle” of life is never easy. The various roles we play should earn all of us an Academy Award; but it comes a time when you have to focus on you. I tell my mom all the time that she only has one go around in this journey we call life. You can’t always be everything for everybody. So if you moved yourself to the back of the bus, start easing your way back to the front. You deserve to live your best life in 2009!
