Taraji P. Henson

We love Taraji P. Henson and 2009 looks like its going to be her breakout year. She is nominated for a “Screen Actors Guild Award (SAG)” for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role” for her portrayal of “Queenie” in the critical acclaim film, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” Taraji is up against some stiff competition, but we hope she can bring the SAG award home. The 15the Annual SAG Awards airs live on January 25th on TNT and TBS. Check your local listings for channels and times. In the meantime, you can check out Taraji at theaters this Friday in her latest film, “Not Easily Broken,” opposite actor Morris Chestnut.”

Taraji has surprised me with the roles she has gotten. She proved to me that hard work does paid off. From singing on the Oscar stage to swapping spit with Morris, life is good for Taraji from the outside looking in. (LOL!)
