Syleena Jonson's new album was originally slated to be released this month, but now, her album will be available on January 13, 2009. According to her myspace page, keeping with the "chapter" theme of her three previous albums, Chapter 4: Labor Pains is an in-depth look at the most personal struggles in her life. From the "Intro" to "Outro" tracks, listeners will ride along with Ms. Johnson as she shares her relatable perspectives on day-to-day life, love, motherhood, relationships, pain, struggle and fun with friends. "I had great experiences recording each of my first three albums, but Chapter 4: Labor Pains has meant so much more to me. I wrote every song on this album except for a remake of one of my father, Syl Johnson's songs. I am looking to reconnect with my fans and gain new ones, and I really think people will hear and relate to all of the labor that was put into this album," Ms. Johnson continued.
