Black Is Beautiful

We love Lauryn Hill not simply because she’s black and beautiful, but because she is a
young woman talented
beyond belief. As the only female member of the “Fugees,”
her rap flow and the way her vocals resonated within us hinted that this young woman was destined to be a star. In 1998, with the release of her solo album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” it appeared that Lauryn’s destiny was well on its way to being fulfilled. “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” has sold over 19 million copies and has been recognized to be a commercially successful and critically acclaimed album. For the most part in recent years, Lauryn has lived a life out of the limelight and has instead chosen to live her life privately while raishng her children. There has been rumors of a Lauryn Hill comback in the near future, this remains to be seen. If or when Lauryn Hill choses to take her place back among the stars, fans will surely be waitng!
